Harrison’s Hat is an online interactive book series that is structured in volumes with each volume containing 12 Adventure Issues. All these issues must have a subscription in order to access them online. The Origin Story which is the first book of the entire series is a FREE short intro book that tells the story about how Harrison got his magical hat and how he learned exactly what it does. The full adventures begin after the Origin story and are longer stories that feature a particular piece of art work from an artist. Harrison’s adventures are always lesson learned structured while giving the reader a glance into the artist’s life and work.
To gain access to the site you need to set up an account. If you click on the menu bar and select JOIN THE CLUB you will be taken to a sign up page. Or if you click under login and click register you will also be taken to the same page with a variety of subscription packages to choose from. You simply choose the one that you want and fill out the information to register your account.
There is one account that is FREE but with limited access. This account is only for those who wish to access the Harrison’s Hangout social media club as well as uploading artwork. You will not get access to any full issue online books. Only the FREE Origin Story which is free to everyone.
All other accounts are paid subscription accounts that will allow the subscriber access to the full online books that are purchased.
Free Account
Free accounts give you access to your user dashboard as well as access to Harrison’s Showcase Gallery Uploading, and access to Harrison’s Hangout – a family friendly, safe social platform. It does not give any access to the full issue adventures. You need a paid subscription to have access to read the full issues.
Volume Packages
Save $$ and receive 2 FREE issues by purchasing an entire Volume Package. You get access to 12 adventure issues, as well as access to Harrison’s Artist Showcase uploading and a Harrison’s Hangout social media account. If you have a coupon for this level, you still choose this and during signup, there is a spot to enter in your coupon code.
Single Issues
You can choose to purchase online access to each issue individually. Each issue is $9.99 and as well you get access to the Showcase Gallery Uploading and a free Harrison’s Hangout social media account. When new issues are released, you can keep buying individual issues through your dashboard or through the Join the Club link. Make sure you are signed into your account when buying additional issues. You will always have access to the past issues you purchased as well as any new ones.
Your Account Dashboard
Once you are registered you are assigned a user Dashboard. Here you can access the bookshelf, subscription page for upgrades or additional book purchases, the showcase, and Harrison’s Hangout link.
You can completely customize your dashboard with a custom User Photo and a custom header image.
You can also completely customize your Harrison’s Hangout Dashboard as well once you enter the Harrison’s Hangout Social Community. Both Dashboards are different and can be customized differently.
The link to your dashboard only appears in the main menu once you are logged in. You should always log in when you visit the site to assure you are getting the access you signed up for as well as access to your user dashboard.
Once you register and log in with your username and password, your dashboard option appears on the top menu. You can access your dashboard at anytime though this link. If you don’t see it, you are not logged in. When you log in you are automatically taken to your dashboard. You can get to the homepage by clicking on the Harrison Hat Logo or clicking on HOME.
Harrison’s Hangout is like having Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and Forums like Reddit all in one safe family oriented social media hub. Harrison’s Hangout has a very strict rule structure to make it more safe for younger users and families. Many social media platforms allow adult content and as such, youngsters can be exposed to unwanted adult content and possible attackers. Harrison’s Hangout has installed profanity blockers, and a very strict reporting system that blocks users on just one report for admins to review. We want to make Harrison’s Hangout a very save space with a nice art theme to it as well. When you sign up for an account on Harrison’s Hat, you are automatically given sign in access to a Harrison’s Hangout account and you can use your same log in information to gain access to the Hangout Space.
